Trying to explain history, trying to understand the lives of those who came before us, helps us understand and navigate the present and face and imagine the future. For this reason, at Desperta Ferro we continue in 2023 with our commitment to offer you important books, food for reflection and knowledge. We present our catalog of publications January-July 2023 . In February we start with Caesar's Legacy , by Josiah Osgood, which continues his Rome. The creation of the world state and also the biography of Julius Caesar by Patricia Southern. This is the first comprehensive account of a crucial period in the history of Rome and, therefore, in the history of the world; the Second Triumvirate.
